📦 Shipping Policy
This policy outlines our procedures and responsibilities regarding the shipment of completed documents, including but not limited to finalized Translation documents (upon demand) and Apostille packages.
Shipping Methods and Carriers
To ensure the security, speed, and traceability of your sensitive documents, D.O.L. Group uses reputable third-party courier services.
We utilize the following carriers, and the specific service will depend on your selection at the time of order:

USPS (United States Postal Service)

UPS (United Parcel Service)

FedEx (Federal Express)

DHL (for international shipments)
Tracking and Confirmation
All shipments, regardless of the carrier or service level chosen (including Certified Mail through USPS), will be assigned a tracking number.

Shipment Confirmation: Once your finalized documents are packaged, processed, and provided to the courier, you will receive a shipment confirmation email from D.O.L. Group containing your tracking number and a link to the carrier’s tracking website.

Tracking Responsibility: The client is responsible for monitoring the shipment's progress using the provided tracking information.
Shipping Responsibility and Liability Disclaimer
D.O.L. Group acts solely as the sender of your documents and utilizes the services of independent third-party couriers for delivery.
Transfer of Responsibility
Our responsibility for the safe delivery of your documents ends the moment the package is provided to the chosen third-party courier and scanned into their system. This action constitutes the successful fulfillment of our shipping obligation to you.
Limitation of Liability

D.O.L. Group is not responsible for any delays, damages, loss, or mis-delivery that occurs after the package has been successfully transferred to the third-party courier.

By selecting and paying for a specific shipping service, the client agrees to the terms and conditions of that courier service (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL) and must address all claims for lost or damaged packages directly with the respective courier.

We strongly recommend that clients choose shipping options that include insurance coverage commensurate with the importance and/or replacement cost of the documents being shipped.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on the carrier selected, the chosen service level (e.g., Standard, Priority, Overnight), the destination, and the final weight of the document package.
Shipping fees are non-refundable once the package has been shipped.
Shipping fee schedule:

Domestic Standard/First-Class Mail (USPS) - Estimated delivery 3-10 business days - $15

Domestic Priority Mail (USPS)- Estimated delivery 2-4 business day - $20

Domestic Express (FedEx/UPS) - Estimated delivery 2-4 business day - $45

Domestic Overnight (FedEx/UPS) - Costs based on zip code

Important Notes

Processing Time: Shipping estimates do not include the time required for the actual Translation process or the Apostille processing time at the Secretary of State/Department of State level.

Incorrect Address: The client is responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. If a package is returned due to an incorrect address provided by the client, the client will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping.

Lost Packages: For any package confirmed lost by the carrier, the client must initiate a claim directly with the shipping carrier, as per Section 3.
Non-Delivery and Return to Sender

The client is responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address and ensuring that arrangements are in place to receive the package at the provided destination.

Re-shipment Fee: In the event a package is returned to our office (Return to Sender) due to reasons including, but not limited to, an incorrect address provided by the client, non-deliverability, or multiple failed delivery attempts by the courier, the client will be charged an additional fee for the subsequent shipment, as well as the returned shipment cost.

Agreement: No additional shipping costs will be applied only if mutually agreed upon otherwise by both D.O.L. Group and the client in writing.
